Several months ago Chris had been asked to speak at the meeting. A couple
days before, the guy who had asked him sent him a message to remind him,
but also told him he won’t be able to make it to hear his story. Chris took
offense to that and cussed him out quite severely by text message. I saw
the messages and was taken aback by the vitriol. Chris didn’t show up to
speak.

Last night I went to a meeting I don’t usually attend, and when I arrived
in the parking lot I saw Chris roaring out of there on his motorcycle. I
came to find out he had been asked to sit in a different seat so the
group’s matriarch who can barely walk could sit in her usual seat near the
door. It seems he took offense to that and left the meeting before it
started.

Chris also used to ride in my motorcycle group several years ago, but he
got kicked out for being reckless. I’ve personally witnessed him passing a
car on the right on the highway off ramp.

Chris has been sober 20+ years.

Maybe Bob will say he now understands your preoccupation with gay people

Never a dull moment, down in Cajun Country, eh, Charlie? Are you really
"retired"? Speaking of tires, expecting snow any day now up here in
Edmonton, I am having new "all weather" tire installed tomorrow...a
hybrid between regular tires and snow/winter tires which, up here, have
to be changed out spring and fall.

Nokian Remedy WRG5 205/65R16 weight/speed rating is 95H

They have that symbol with the mountain peaks.

Supposedly better than "summer" tires but not as good as "winter" tires
in deep snow. Probably have somewhat softer "rubber" at the expense of
longevity re tread.

A cheapskate like you would be proud of the deal I made. At least for
the next year I'm working one day a week. At my "consultant" hourly rate
that works out to 40% of my full-time salary. Of course the big boss
could pull the plug at any time.. but... easy come- easy go.

THAT kind of "snow" comes in bags, eh?

Doubtless, your accountant has advised you of various expenses that can
make you less a target of Uncle Sam with his IRS cloak on.

My accountant used to work for some big corporation called Enron. He said
not to worry… he’s got it all covered.

Guaranteed! WTF, we are all still certainly allowed to have
"opinions" on people, places, and things. Sometimes, though, *I* have to
remember to keep it at that and NOT to advance into severe judgment.

Sobriety doesn't guarantee emotional maturity. Some continue to be
profane while others continue to be judgemental.
