Matthew Perry's live-in personal assistant, two doctors, an alleged drug
dealer known as the "Ketamine Queen" and another man have been charged
with providing ketamine that led to the death of the "Friends" star last
year.
Federal prosecutors allege that Perry's personal assistant, Kenneth
Iwamasa, worked with the two doctors, Mark Chavez and Salvador Plasencia
and drug dealers Jasveen Sangha and Eric Fleming to obtain thousands
of dollars' worth of ketamine for the actor, who had long struggled with
addiction.
U.S. Atty. Martin Estrada said at a news conference that the defendants
"took advantage of Mr. Perry's addiction to enrich themselves."
“These defendants were more interested in profiting off Mr. Perry than
caring about his well-being," Estrada said.
