Summer 2024 sweltered to Earth’s hottest on record, making it even more
likely that this year will end up as the warmest humanity has measured,
European climate service Copernicus reported Friday.

And if this sounds familiar, that’s because the records the globe
shattered were set just last year as human-caused climate change, with a
temporary boost from an El Nino, keeps dialing up temperatures and
extreme weather, scientists said.

A surprisingly large number of people still downplay the impact of
climate change or deny that it is primarily a product of human activity.
But why? One hypothesis is that these misconceptions are rooted in a
specific form of self-deception, namely that people simply find it
easier to live with their own climate failings if they do not believe
that things will actually get all that bad.

there is pending legislation, thanks to the lefty goofs in the Liberal
and NDP, that would allow heavy censorship of social media with very
nasty penalties. Also, there are regulations about what corporations can
claim about their efforts to fight climate change. IF ANYTHING in their
claims can be disproven, the corps can be massively penalized. BUT,
