"Matt Gaetz’s withdrawal Thursday as a candidate for attorney general
illustrates the roadblocks President-elect Donald Trump could face as he
attempts to convert his campaign of “retribution” into a governing
coalition capable of working within the realities of Washington."

NBC News

The revenge that worked wonderfully yesterday won't work tomorrow. It
put everyone on edge and on the defensive to prevent it from happening
ever again, and it didn't happen. The resistance worked. Trump would
have better luck rallying the forces of the Dragon and the Beast by
sodomizing male pit bulls for protection and aggression. Just catch him
doing it on film. Better yet invent the footage with AI and be
satisfied. However, nothing but beast on beast in the flesh can do the
trick.

That pick was most likely designed to antagonize the DOJ and put them on
notice. He knew there was no way in hell Gaetz was going to make it. It
would have been fun to watch people squirm though, as we got a little
glimpse of that.

I wonder if Hegseth will be the next to withdraw.
