I know, I didn't answer the question. We have had an absolutely terrible
federal Canadian govt. since 2015. Far left self-styled progressive.
Woke with a capital W. Now ramming through legislation to heavily
regulate internet content with an extra-judicial body to penalize
offenders.Bringing in millions of poorly vetted immigrants when our
educational and health-care systems are already overloaded. Most housing
is already overpriced and in short supply. Long waiting times to see a
medical specialist. Millions have no family doctor. TWICE I had to wait
FIFTEEN hours in the ER before I was examined by a doctor. I've had to
fly 5 HOURS, to Toronto, to have my hip replaced, paying out $40k out of
my own pocket, due to long waiting lists. Cortisone shots no longer
helped and doctors here are often afraid to prescribe adequate pain
relief in such cases due to the paranoia concerning opiate prescriptions.
So, becoming part of The Republic has its pros and cons but not quite
ready to go that far....today. More likely to support my province,
Alberta, joining the other western provinces and declaring independence.
